"Do not say to those who died for the cause of the Lord that they are dead. In fact, they are all alive, but you cannot feel it." (Quran 2-154) With a heavy heart and pride, I reread the book "Islam through Muhammad". This book attracted me like a magnet, and its words were like clusters of torches, igniting the way forward. Because of this, people draw rich nutrients through it and increase their incomparable strength. This is spiritual food that cannot be exchanged for money, and it is the dream of every Muslim. These spiritual food originates from the Quran and Hadith, which are inexhaustible and inexhaustible cultural treasures for Muslims. Imam Chen Keli is a close friend of my classmates. Thirty years ago, with a sharp and vigorous pen, he got rid of the rigid translation, jumped out of the outdated clichés, boldly innovated, and had the courage to create, and wrote this epoch-making book with clear and subtle language. This book discusses the truth that Islam benefits all mankind and sees the light of day. Introduces the simple and extraordinary huge image and noble quality of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, the savior of mankind. It is like the nectar of a long drought. Moisturizes the hearts of Muslims. In 1950 and 1951, two editions came out successively. Not only that, it has also been translated into Arabic, Indonesian, Urdu and spread all over the world. Imam Chen Keli resolutely chose to translate scriptures as his life's work for the sake of the Lord and the Holy Religion. For this reason, he would rather resign from his teaching job at Peking University, reject the appointment letter as an editor-in-chief expert, abandon the flamboyance in front of his eyes, and devote all his heart and soul to the cause of Islamic culture. He is intelligent, pure and naive, open-minded and outspoken. So in 57 years will be bad luck. Since then, he has experienced the hardships of the world, being imprisoned, forced labor, supervised and reformed, and sent back to his hometown... However, he has endured endless political persecution, overcame indescribable life difficulties, and supported those who were devastated by tuberculosis and illness. The body, the pen that works for the Lord has never stopped. For more than 20 years, he has translated more than 20 kinds of scriptures and tens of millions of words! But many works could not be published, he is still full of confidence. In his letter to me, he made it clear: "Allah is the one who succeeds or loses, and Allah is with the tenacious..." Who would have thought that the 'one fight against three evils' movement would have plundered his home again. His family was ruined and impoverished. But the plague gods, the epidemic disease epidemic. His manuscript was copied. Everyone knows that it is not a "change of the sky", but a precious Islamic cultural wealth coagulated with blood, flesh and bones. His body was dismembered, his blood was exhausted, his heart was shattered, and his hope was shattered. When he couldn't bear it, he wanted to die standing up rather than live on his knees. "A heroic death is better than a stubborn life." He fulfilled his oath and shed blood in his hometown in 1970. Civilization cannot be insulted, but the people cannot be deceived. Whoever fools history will be ridiculed mercilessly by history. The martyr's prophecy has come true, - the "Gang of Four", which has brought disaster to the country and the people, and deceived the world and religion, has been smashed together with its reactionary fascist theory. With the implementation of the policy, the religious life of the people is gradually guaranteed, and the situation is very good. However, the Islamic cultural undertaking, which has suffered misfortune for ten years, is on the verge of extinction. The majority of the Hui people are eagerly expecting to obtain some religious knowledge. Therefore, reprinting the book "Seeing Islam from Muhammad" has become a top priority, for the sake of the country, the nation, and the Lord. Teach, for the cause of Islamic culture, let it bloom bright flowers and bear rich fruits! It should be noted that according to the author's annotations in this book, there are additions and deletions to the words and sentences in individual places compared with the previous edition. The "Tombstone" attached to the end of this book is a confessional poem by the author during his lifetime. The 'Yifan' in the poem is a pseudonym used by the author. In addition, in the misfortune, it is fortunate that all the translations of the "Haith Sutra" translated by the author have been saved from misfortune because they have been transferred to other places. Martyr Keli died unjustly for 15 years, and now the Henan Provincial Public Security Bureau has rehabilitated him, proving that the murder was wrong. Allah! Heed our prayers, and raise his rank in Paradise! History! You must not forget the outstanding son of the Hui people; Chen Keli, the proud brother of Islam! Let us cherish his achievements and move forward on the glorious main road!
